It is important to note that The Power of 1000 is not intended to be an infrastructure fund and the Alumni committee setup will be independent from the School Governing Body and the School Management Teams.

It is envisaged that the fund will be utilized largely to support but not restricted to various initiatives as listed below, which cater for enrichment programs at the school, with a long term view to extending the initiative into the broader community of Lenasia as the fund grows and matures.

• Leadership Development of individuals
• Capacity- Building that enhances the institution and could include learners, educators and / or SGB members.
• Support for achievement in sports, arts and culture.
• Young entrepreneurship funding
• Career assessments and entrepreneurship / University open day funding
